Any wider and my arms would be pointing out at the top of the rep. Where I grip it now, my arms are perpendicular when I put up the bar.

doing bench work with dumbbells will help develop more muscle than with a regular bar bench press. I just read that on a magazine, which is cool because I hardly ever use a bar.

Protein shakes aren't bad... just like eating chicken, only easier and cheaper. Protein is neccessary for muscle synthesis.

It works different stabalizer muscles but doesn't develop more muscle..........you'll see more of a difference in your dominant arm and other arm's strength..........but it doesn't develop your muscles any more than a regular bench press..........

Actually it does. You have a greater range of motion with dumbbells than with a barbell.

nothing wrong with having your arms like this: \ / at the top of the rep. i usually do my regular bench workout, and then do a wide grip bench workout, then a close grip group of sets.
