On it right now. Kinda. My best friend is doing it to the letter, and I am doing the guidelines and my old routine which are basically along the same lines.

June 1st we'll see who works better.

why don't you just go to the gym and do whatever suits you at your own pace? I had the same kind of goals, did that and it worked great.

that looks good, i might have to give that a go. is that with a moderate weight or a max weight for best results?

a few reasons.

1. im super self conscious when it comes to working out in front of people.
2. i already have some gear at home to work out with.
3. im too cheap to pay for gym membership.
4. last time i just randomly fired up a workout plan, it was generally effective, i gained some mass, felt somewhat stronger, etc but didnt really have any assurance that i was getting the most result for my effort.

Good point.

Pretty much going to the gym and working out will produce results no matter what. (NOTE I SAID PRETTY MUCH)

But its the effectivness of the workout that makes the difference between a good workout with small gains and a great one with huge gains.
