I do agree with changing our source of energy, merely for the pollution factor and inefficiency of it, not to mention the fact that someday it won't exist for us to use anymore.

And really, it *doesnt* matter.
Cavemen lived in the ice ages without modern equipment, we can live in a warmer climate w/ our modern equipment, or colder for that matter.
It's really a moot point, not to mention, unproven to be influenced in any major manner by humans.

Beyond that, human living conditions were MUCH different then. Population density and resource scarcity was also significantly different, as well as standards of living, life expectancy, and resource usage. Being warmer isn't too bad, until you consider how it will affect rain fall, humidity, vegetation coverage, oceanic behavior, disease transmission, energy costs to cool down, etc etc. The list goes on. Failing to ingore all the effects is like turning a blind eye to reality, and the problem is that your indifference will affect me and everyone else...

You can continue believing in your doomsday scenario brought on by humans though, it's ok.

not really he is arguing using known research of other educated men/women who also dedicated their lives to the same/similar research.
just because he chooses to believe one side over the other doesn't make him wrong. There still is little proof from either side on how it's going to affect us (this generation).
Also I still stand by what I said in my first post above.

or are you saying that we should still reduce emissions but you do not believe that it causes global warming?
BTW i think we should reduce emission in the developed countries but should not ask the underdeveloped countries to do the same.
