Beyond that, human living conditions were MUCH different then. Population density and resource scarcity was also significantly different, as well as standards of living, life expectancy, and resource usage. Being warmer isn't too bad, until you consider how it will affect rain fall, humidity, vegetation coverage, oceanic behavior, disease transmission, energy costs to cool down, etc etc. The list goes on. Failing to ingore all the effects is like turning a blind eye to reality, and the problem is that your indifference will affect me and everyone else...
not really he is arguing using known research of other educated men/women who also dedicated their lives to the same/similar research.
just because he chooses to believe one side over the other doesn't make him wrong. There still is little proof from either side on how it's going to affect us (this generation).
