get out there and just do your thing. I used to be VERY shy back in the day. I remember going to early (99) HAN meets and being intimidated because of not knowing people, so I was usually quiet. Now, I just don't care and act like I do on the board. :exnbp:
I still occasionally get quiet when I first meet a group of people, but will get over in a matter of minutes.h:

I am bad at making conversation to begin with because I can usually see right through to the end of it and I realize before I even start that it is pointless and I let it go to shit. I never communicate without reason unless it's a girl and I can figure something interesting to say that will lead into a conversation or if I am really bored.

in all honesty, i'm kind of reserved and laid back in person. Jess yelled at me the 1st time we met b/c i was too quiet and wasn't like i am on the board. :chuckles: but with the CA guys that I've met, I think i've pretty much been me from teh start.
It all comes down to how comfortable I am around the person/people.
