Hey guys. I got a question. When i ever meet a ton of people I dont know I turn into a dickhead and just sit there and dont say a word. For example I have a friend who dosent go to college with me. She ususally picks me up and well go hang out with all her friends. And when I get there i just like freeze up and dont say a word. I dont know why I do it, i just get really shy or something. Anybody know a way to get over this, besides alcohol?

And really the only way to "get over it" is to put yourself in the situation over and over and practice not freezing up.

but you just have to practice approaching people and making conversation. that's really the only way, besides alcohol.

im not really good at meeting new people either, if I meet someone new and they dont conversate with me than I wont conversate back, I guess I can only follow up on a conversation but not start one :dunno:
