actually i'm the same too. i've grown up military-style...don't speak, unless spoken too. so if i'm not approached or asked a question, i won't talk.

just relize this man, at the end of the night, what have you gained, by not talking to these people? thats how i look at it. im not saying that you have to talk to everybody, but if you have intrest in the other person, and you dont talk to them, you gain nothing.
saying you do, you gained another person to talk to. its your choice to want to keep talking to the person, but hell, didnt really cost you anything.
how to do this? do you generally care about how other people tend to see you like? as in, do you give a **** about wat other people think? if you do, loosen up. im not saying go naked and hump a tree, unless u like that, but, just go for it. just do it.
