my email is cowanpp@yahoo.com

Now, I'm not completely sure on the Arkinsaw pronunciation, but I believe the word actually has an indian root, as there were originally 3 or 4 prominant indian tribes in Arkansas. The pronunciation has stayed the same, although the spelling has undergone multiple changes. If memory serves me correctly, at some point in the 1800s it was spelled Arkansaw.

I like number 1 the best, but I am unsure of where Harmony Grove is. I also know a good home inspector who'll find anything that could be wrong with it. Probably not a problem with new construction, but you never know.

What I really would like is a contemporary looking house. In the next couple of weeks I'm heading out there to go house hunting....

What's about the Maumelle area? Nice looking homes in that area also.

Maumelle is good stuff. It's just across the river from West LR. I don't know jack crap about the school districts, but traffic is easier coming into downtown from there. I also think you'd have a higher resale out there because Little Rock is growing West. The homes in Maumelle are virtually the same as those in nicer areas of West Little Rock, only they don't cost as much.
