What you need to understand is that criticizing the president is not necessarily being unpatriotic or disrespectful.

I think that life in the US is a lot better than life in some other places, but it isn't that black-and-white. There are things that make England great, and France great, there is greatness even in our frozen neighbors to the north. Don't get caught up in "my country is better than your's." You'll miss the bigger picture.

You may only be 17 but you entered public debate here so expect no favors....do not jump in deep waters if you cannot swim

We pull no punches and debate is about as american as you can get. As I said in the other thread I will continue to exercise my right to speak on the government how I choose.

Move to Europe?? Not far from my mind to be honest.

I think the point (or at least the hope) of that program is that if you let that kid (who is not able of making serious life decisions such as quitting school) screw up and turn into some moron, he won't be able to get a job or won' want to or whatever, and will end up turning into a vagrant, sucking on society. Either on welfare or some other government program or in prison for some crime. In theory, if some one teacher in any subject can reach or interest that kid, he might not completely fail at life and end up costing the rest of us money.

You make several assumptions however in your argument.

You assume that the program will at some point be put into effect...last I checked it was still in a holding pattern at least partially.

You also assume that anyone who drops out becomes a leach on society and the social system. I can assure you that more times than not this is an incorrect assumption. I have seen it first hand and if you would like I can share with you how I am not a "welfare, [government program in prison for life" individual

87 billion would buy me every car I could imagine, and my own, totally awsome track to race it on, and tires and service and repair for all of them.

and a really hot redheaded 18yr old virgin with the body and face of a goddess, who is a freak in the bed, and a lady in the streets (scour the earth, there's bound to be one somewhere)

and big house for myself and my family and close friends.

and lipsuction to get rid of my gut.

and lots of weightlifting supplements

and my own kickass gym

and my own kickass personal trainer

and lots of other cool stuff.

thats what 87billion is to me.
