Try reversing some of those front panel wires... The Reset SW and the PWR SW especially, sounds like a common occurance.

the power and reset switches aren't directional. they're just a momentary-contact switch that is normally open. polarity doesn't make a huge difference. now with the FP LED's that's good advice.
I am pretty sure this might be it, because it happened to me a few times.
