to test the powersupply, bend a paperclip and stick one end into the terminal for the green wire and the other end into one of the black wires next to the green wire, then plug a power cord into the power supply.

make sure you have the switch plugged into the powersupply right


also try different p/s on your board if possible. the board could be busted

i got a new mobo, new powersupply. working on it right now. tell ya how it goes.

im so lazy.

btw the studs that go between the chassis and mobo are too big or something so the mobo is just sitting on the chassis. is this bad? only way itll fit the slots in the back

move the spacers where they need to go.. they should screw out with a little effort

perfect fit without spacers. if it doesnt boot up imma just take it to the shop ;_;

I had the exact same problem on my first build, the cases thermal probe was interferring with the CPU, so i pulled it out, resat it, put new thermal grease on it, and it worked perfect. Doesnt sound like thats your problem though, just thought that it might help?

as long as the bottom side of the mobo isn't sitting on metal you should be alright.. if it is, and you turn it on, expect to buy a new mobo
