For the guitar players out there.....
a cheapo nylon string
good sound, easy to play...
if you wanna start out w/ something electric, buy used. I started out with one of those squire strats, and it was ok, but only lasted about two years before it started having some serious problems. So get somthing of medium quality and buy used to cut the costs. Right now I have an American Standard (new gen, titanium bridge, and all the goodies) and I play my roomies Parker Fly

by the way i forgot to mention that i succeeded in buying an epiphone acoustic guitar at my local guitar shop. The guy agreed with all of you out there that advised me to go acoustic to start out on. Thank you to all who took the time to tell me what they thought.

Rock on and keep it real
