get a used acoustic that sound really nice. buying a new crappy sounding one isnt worth it. later u'll be learning to play barre chords and its hard on cheap guitars. when i started i bought i new $150 guitar, and it souded ok, considering it was the first time i played. but later on, it learned it sounded like crap. so i bought a used one, and im happier than ever. used acoustics like takamine or taylors are nice.
