its virtually the same price... not much less... and the reason for that is because the dealer goes through inspections and repairs, private sellers dont...

It's a good car. I almost picked up a 95 a few years ago in pearl white, but the car had rust so I didn't end up buying it. Pearl white is pretty rare, at least up here and imo looks the best. It was $10k CDN 3 years ago, so that's around $7k US.

4500 is fair

first off, the trade-in value is ~4500, and we all know dealers rip you off on a trade in. Secondly, the dealer retail price is ~7200 which to me is significantly less than the 5,700 private party value I quoted earlier.

S14 also has the SR20DET. Just different tranny, and other fun stuff. the S15 has like 180hp, and the S14 has 160hp... I think. Been a while, you see.
