Dude that's a sweetass ride. Totally rare around here there's maybe 2 or 3 that I've seen in our area (about 100,000 people). RWD, 2700 lbs, 155 hp, sounds good to me, especially in such great condition with low mileage. :thumbup: Edmunds.com puts the private party value at about $5000 with zero options and $5800 with all options except auto tranny.

 

allow me to educate you..

KBB trade in value is NOT what you will recieve from the dealer... no matter how purty and perfect your car is. its higher. he would be lucky to see 3-3.5k from a dealer for the 240 if that was the case... and thats older cars.. the margin spreads the newer the car, i promise. then there's banks and credit unions. they look at your credit and decide what they'll loan you for a car based on its value. the better your credit the higher percentage of the wholesale/trade-in value they'll loan you... buying a car for anymore than 100% of the value of the car is retarded. the value of the 240 in question is 4500 dollars (wholesale/trade-in). and that drops with work needed, because KBBs computers cant see and inspect the car, they relay[sp] on your judgement (who isnt going to make excellent on their vehicle?)

see where im coming from? the car has an ACTUAL CASH VALUE as it sits right now. and buying a car for more than that, you know my opinion already

I do ALOT of work on both SR20 and KA24 powered 240SXs. If you need anything just ask

the S14s are great cars. They wont die, the KA they have is actually NOT a truck motor(built in Japan, designed for the 240 specifically), and if you dont like the way they handle, get some KYB shocks are your set.

They will however, NOT drift in stock form. It depends of you want a car to kick around in, or a race car. If you want a car to kick around in, theyre perfect. If you want a drag car or road racing, you may be better off with a Civic.
