Is this the game that got the worst reviews ever on Amazon?

 

Yeah. The initial out lash was over a "constant on" connection for what EA called "server side calculations" ... which ended up being a persistent DRM (digital rights management) / anti-piracy measure only. If that weren't bad enough, the servers were greatly under powered and paying customers were unable to play for a week or 2. When the game became stable, rampant bugs were found ... the most severe of which would just reset your land.

There are maaaajor problems with this title. Things only got worse after the recent TU 2.0 (full title update)

If a physical copy was purchased, try to return it. Amazon and Target are very generous.

If you purchased a digital copy through Origin and purchased with Visa, file a "charge back" with your Visa. Origin (EA) are a bunch of fucking pricks.
