right now after some of the info i've learned so far the miata has moved to teh top of the list, it's cheap and there's tons of stuff i can do to make it a bit bigger on the interior and most important it's cheap so it gives me teh ability to buy that powerbook i want and a lot flying miata parts

i think also if you join scca or or spec miata racing org or something like that, you get a decent discount on parts from Mazda

if i found a turbo 2 in good condition (i'm talking immaculate by most people's standards) then i'd pick that up in a heartbeat, but from my research so far, finding an turbo 2 in teh condition i'd buy on in is near impossible, while miatas are easy to find

my friend bought a 92? or 93 miata with 180K miles. had to replace the battery and the fuel pump. put in nice race seats, 5point harness and the roll cage.

changed fluid to ATE super blue and i think AXXIS brake pads (stock rotors) with some r compounds.

he runs circles around 95% of the traffic on any given day.

oh this is on blown shocks. no changes to the suspension yet.

he is that good. but the car is that capable
