RX-8's gotta go

so what's gonna replace it

1. FC http://shin.bit.ac/cg/mazda/k-cg/rx-7-fc.gif

2. Miata (pending i can fit in it, last time i was in one i did) http://shin.bit.ac/cg/mazda/k-cg/roadster.gif

3. FD (with some work to make me fit)http://shin.bit.ac/cg/mazda/k-cg/rx-7.gif

4. WRX http://shin.bit.ac/cg/subaru/k-cg/wrc02.gif

all that matters is auto-x

miata and FC give me more money to spend on aftermarket, FD and WRX allow me only limited parts money

FC I love them.

wrx would be my choice...

why you gotta ditch the rx8? too much money or just not happy with it?

daily driver too? if its only a weekend car, miata:thumbup:

insurance rose to unreasonable level after the car came out and the car is too much compromise for me, god i love the engine but it's just not right for me

it's gotta do everything including daily driving, but comfort doesn't mean anything to me, it just needs heat and a cd player and 2 speakers to daily drivable

sounds like miata is all you need then provided you fit

the order they are in right now, and keep in mind at this point i'm kinda wishy washy because i haven't really reached a conclusion

but anyways as it sits now it's

FD
miata
FC
WRX

explain your opinions too please, i'm looking for some insight

DakarM Oct 26, 2003 08:16 PM

fD hard to find?

miata dirt cheap and handles well. it has your minimal requirements. if the engine blows up you can get a replacement for under $2K

RB Oct 26, 2003 08:17 PM

the FD and FC I would say no to just because of reliability and maintanence issues.

I would say no to miatas purely because they are too small and I'm not a big fan of the plain styling.

WRX = good daily driver, decently reliable, probably still under warranty, turbo, AWD, 4 doors, and more.
