No, Timing belt could be installed incorrectly......Is this the same engine that you were trying to get to Redline at 7800rpm....If so then you might have skipped a tooth.

recheck all your wiring, cause you may have just forgotten to plug something up...Just go through the whole wire harness and also check all your fuses, and be sure you're getting a good ground to the motor as well

Just a last thought, there is a fuel injector relay....try checkin' it? If you have a multimeter, have someone crank it while you seem if there's voltage coming to the injectors. There's a strong possibility the fuel injector resistor box could be bad. Did you use the one that was on your car? or the one out of your buddies? It could have been shorted out during install. You can test the resistance on the leads coming out of it to determine if it's bad. Also make sure non of your fuses are bad... I'm trying to help ya man..I feel the pain

P.S. you probably know, but the injector relay looks like a little metal box with a heatsink on top.

Also, how long has it been since the engine last ran? if it's been more than a month or two, most likely the injectors are stuck shut, it's a rather common problem on swaps. Don't give up man
