Default fuel, spark, no fire?

im thinking maybe im getting too much gas, but im not sure how to know other than to pull the plugs and check them. i did that and there is a slight small amount on the plugs. but im not sure if its too much to want to flood it. any ideas are helpful. thanks

im thinking im getting too much gas. he had a vafc wired in wrong, poured gas into the intake. i cleaned it out pretty damn good before i put the motor in my car. the first few times i cranked it and pulled the plugs, there were completely soaked. i got it down to a consistant little bit of dampness on the plugs now. could still be too much gas in there. idk how much i would normally see on the plugs.
