try cutting the fuel supply to the motor just by clamping hte fuel line. If you're getting too much gas, you'll at least spit out what's in there or burn it up...

So i'm not quite understanding...is the vehicle running yet? If not I had a similar problem with a civic. It ended up being the ignitor in the distributor, I was told by one of my Honda tech friends that there is no true way to test it because all it does is direct grounds...Just a though

did your car have spark still tho? cuz i have spark.

well now i know im for sure gettin fuel, and spark. i cleared up the problem by buying a new ecu, usdm p13, i cleaned the intake out. now im getting a clean plug everytime i pull them out. the injectors are spraying,... i took the fuel rail off to be sure of it and turned it and the were spraying. soo that all looks fine. still no signs of it wanting to start up.

can you hear the fuel ignite? as in does it sound like it trying to start? This sounds very odd, maybe try shooting some starter fluid in there while trying to start it...maybe it just needs a good kick in the butt.

Also, though this may have nothing to do with anything, make sure the egr valve is shut. I once had the stranged problem with a nissan SUV, I replaced everything, cap, button, wires, plugs...ended up the egr was stuck open and not allowing it to start...dont ask me...

I know you've got to be frustrated...but are you positive you've got spark?(you grounded a plug out and saw it spark?)...Here's my point....when I was working on the car with the bad ignitor, there was spark coming out of the coil, but it never made it to the plugs, if it's shooting gas in there, and the plugs are firing...Somethin should be happening...I think it's in your distributor

Yep, my car had spark and everything. I was giving it gas and it wouldn't start, but after I clamped the hose, it started right up..Apparently there was just too much gas dumpped into my motor. This was after my car had been sitting for about a 1.5 months.

Also, when was the last time you changed your cap and rotor? Those may need to be changed out. It's only about $30 for both, so it's a cheap fix
