how that effects flow and the velocity of the fluid is pretty complicated, but it's not a small effect.

Cross sectional area is one component of the equation....and 12% is a big difference.

whichever you can get cheaper. same design.

i think the megan is higher quality though, the welds on that thing aren't so bad.

yea ima say the megan (aka ebay style)
unless u want to grab a pro-speed or serious all motor header but for the price of an ebay header if u dont mind buying a new one every year cause it will probably crack at one point
the DC is ok i guess even tho i despise them over there, it wont crack but it will rust eventually and the gains are minimal

as far as the crossmember i dont see how that can be unless someone can corroborate it for sure
if ur gonna get exhaust and a vafc then do this...
get a decent header - DC is ok if u dont mind the fact that its BS but its pretty cheap right now so its not a bad deal and it looks nice
get a straight pipe - or a "high flow cat" from ebay
choose ur exhaust - i recommend RSR-Exmag for its sleeper factor
short ram intake - i recommend stock airbox minus resonator w/ K+N drop in
VAFC2 - at this point take the car to a dyno that can tune a VAFC/2 for hondas

you will really see the most gains with those mods after about 4 dyno pulls and an experienced VAFC tuner making changes on each...
here is a video of my friends lude on the dyno (he just sold it and grabbed a 2005 DC5)

this was from dynoday on my local forums, i was taping it
i also dyno'd my car

ya i was kinda hesitant bout the whole crossmember talk...yes i am planning on gettin an exhaust and vafc in the future...im prolly gonna get the megan header since it has the same design as the dc header and it has welds of the same quality of dc if not better(plus megan is less than half the price)....the megan header package im planning on gettin from ebay comes with a straight pipe...i have a v2 intake already....will the straight pipe/megan header give me trouble with inspection/emissions??? thanks for all the advice ludeboom
