There is a special on Obama's shady past and extremist friends. I know it is FOX but most of this stuff is widely known but ignored or put to the side by most of the media. You can go on youtube to get the rest of the videos from the special.

Some stuff on Fannie and Freddie Democrats and Obama may not want you to see. Obama was the 2nd highest receiver of Freddie Mac and Fannie May "contributions"(payoffs) ever and it is all Democrats who highly support Obama who are the top receivers of Freddie and Fannie contributions. Obama and the media have somehow convinced many the Wall Street crisis was just Bush's and Republicans fault over the past 8 years even though it was a Democratic policy(giving loans for houses and credit to low income people with bad credit) and mainly supported by Democrats well before Bush came into office.

But facts don't tell the truth about [insertsomeasininecommentaboutObamabeingaregistered muslimorthelike]!

Really, honestly, read some facts from a nonpartisan website like factcheck.org.

Those figures about Obama receiving Freddy Mac and Fanny Mae money come from the personal donations of the employees, not from the corporation itself. BIG difference.

On the other hand, regarding McCain

Aquiles Suarez, listed as an economic adviser to the McCain campaign in a July 2007 McCain press release, was formerly the director of government and industry relations for Fannie Mae. The Senate Lobbying Database says Suarez oversaw the lending giant's $47,510,000 lobbying campaign from 2003 to 2006.

And other current McCain campaign staffers were the lobbyists receiving shares of that money. According to the Senate Lobbying Database, the lobbying firm of Charlie Black, one of McCain's top aides, made at least $820,000 working for Freddie Mac from 1999 to 2004. The McCain campaign's vice-chair Wayne Berman and its congressional liaison John Green made $1.14 million working on behalf of Fannie Mae for lobbying firm Ogilvy Government Relations. Green made an additional $180,000 from Freddie Mac. Arther B. Culvahouse Jr., the VP vetter who helped John McCain select Sarah Palin, earned $80,000 from Fannie Mae in 2003 and 2004, while working for lobbying and law firm O'Melveny & Myers LLP. In addition, Politico reports that at least 20 McCain fundraisers have lobbied for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, pocketing at least $12.3 million over the last nine years.

Now, there's some interesting phenomenon with those numbers. About 62% of the contributions were to PACs, and the rest private party donations from people who are employed at the company. So let's look at those numbers again, but look at contributions to PAC (Political Action Committees, which slush funds for receiving political donations) being focused, as those are the numbers that are showing contribution by groups with intent to have political sway.

Dodd, Christopher J S CT D $48,500
Obama, Barack S IL D $6,000 *This money was received while he was a senator. He has not received any money since his run for presidency.

See how things suddenly get a bit more blurry?

This is also of interest when you look at contributions to political campaigns in 2008:

Those figures appear to be flawed. How were Geoffery Boisi and Alfonse D'Amato able to contribute those exaggerated amounts when the maximum contribution is limited to $4,600 ($2,300 for primary and another $2,300 for presidential campaigns)?

Yes, there is an interesting phenomenon with those numbers. Those figures were accumulated over a span of 20 years (1989-2008).

Chris Dodd has been a senator since 1982.
John Kerry has been a senator since 1984.

How did Barack make it to the top of the list within the two short years he served as a senator?

Follow this progression:

1) Barack Obama has raised more money than any other presidential candidate in history- Fact
2) Almost all of his money has been from small donors- Fact
3) He received 120K in small donations from Fannie Mae / Freddy Mac employees- Fact
4) If people have donated individually the same amount that my mother has to his campaign (To pick a loose but real world number), then it would take less than 300 individual donations from people who work for Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac to match 120K. To match what I have donated, it would take about 500.
5) Both of those companies have over 5,000 employees each. So, assuming they have only 5K each (for math sake), and just assume 50% are democrats (for math's sake), if each democrat only donated $25 bucks, then the 120K number would be exceeded.

Barack Obama made it to the top of the list in such a short time because of grassroots funding from individual donors. Obama is near the bottom of the list when it comes to taking money through channels designed to influence policy, and hasn't taken any of the politically influential money since running for president.

While McCain has taken a LOT, and has people who have lobbied for these companies in his top staff.
