Obama is consistant with speaking not only well, but very intelligently. Even many Republicans respect him. That is saying a lot, especially in the political climate of today.

I am not saying he has, just pointing out that possesing great oratory skills does not make one smart. This is a generality and not necessarily specific to Barrak Obama.

I believe he is intelligent whether or not I agree with him politically. In all honesty you really need to have a high level of intelligence to be a politician.

regardless, he's a freshman. President?...not now. Maybe in 2012, maybe 2016. I really admire him and I think he's a JFK for our modern day and age. But he's too green. Give him some time and I gaurantee he will be a part of a massive political move for this nations future. He is not corrupt and won't become corrupt. Politicians have two paths...lust for power, or making a stand. He's an activist. I will put my trust in him when the time is right.

no, he's not, he is a self-proclaimed Christian.

"Let's make clear what the facts are: I am a Christian. I have been sworn in with a Bible. I pledge allegiance [to the American flag] and lead the pledge of allegiance sometimes in the United States Senate when I'm presiding."
