:werd: me too. If you like taxes he's your man. I really hope Bill Richardson is the Democratic nominee...all the rest really scare me.

Oh and Chris, I hope that your backing of the AL teams during the ALCS is not indicative of who you are backing for the '08 election!!! :hehe:

He won't run. And if he did, I would be worried that he will concentrate too much energy and funding in africa. Some of you may not know this but his father is an immigrant from Kenya. Obama visits Kenya, Sudan, and other areas on a regular basis While something needs to be done in those regions, I would fear that he has a personal mission for that area.

IMO, I like him as a senetor. BTW, for some of you guy's that don't like him, you should really listen to him speak. I have never heard a more well-spoken and intelligent senator in my life.

He's a good senetor....I just don't know if he's president material.

"senator"

Those well spoken, charismatic types throw me off. I've learned to never trust people who always have the right answer and know what to say.

Do you trust people who are poor speakers?

I trust people on what they say and what they do, not how they say it. Some of the most eloquent and well presented people I have come across used that as a smoke screen to cover up the fact they did not know anything.

Well, Obama hasn't really done anything to suggest that he is incompetent (yet) or to lose anybody's respect.
