They do not care as evidence by blowing up their own religous sites in Iraq trying to incite a civil war. If Iran thinks it can nuke Israel out of existence do you think Jerusalem will stop them? This is the same Iran, run by the same psychopaths that sent waves of unarmed boys at Iraqi machine gun emplacements during the Iran-Iraq war. As long as they obtain their goal they could care less.

And as for a catastrophe to invade another country in the middle east, like Iran, which is worse and more costly? Invading Iran before or after they nuke Israel or US forces in the middle east?

As for hatred of the US they already do that. Iran has weekly "Death to America" rallies after Friday prayers and has done so since the 70's. Unless we acquiesce to their needs and demands they will continue to hate us. invading them or being in Iraq or supporting Israel is not going to change that.

 

Bombings of shrines in Iraq are between Shite and Sunni or vice versa. Jerusalem is holy to both sects, so that does not apply.

So you suggest that we continue on this path? If we continue to support Israel in everything they do, we will just get deeper and deeper into this problem. They are taking advantage of our willingness to back them no matter what. We need to end our alliance with Israel, and maybe they will be a bit more careful when they deal with other countries.

In addition, do you seriously think Iran will use nuclear weapons? Any country that would do such a thing better hope they can take the rest of the world with them, as a nuclear war is not high on Iran's priority list, I'm sure. Nukes are simply a tool of defense. It works for North Korea. Iraq was shit out of luck in that area, and they reaped all the benifits of THAT...

Yes I think we need to continue on this path. A solid, united front threatening to invade Iran would make them give up their nuclear weapons program. Had the world done that with Iraq, Saddam would have caved and left the country for excile and then there would have been zero reason to go to war. But the world not only was split, countries like France were wispering in Iraq's ear that they would stonewall us and not to go anywhere and Russia was (reportedly) giving Iraq information on our troop movements.

As for Israel if the US does not support them who will? And then they will be wiped out as there is not enough bullets in the IDF to stop an all out Arab attack. And I like how your comments insinuate that Israel is the cause of all problems in the middle east. They are no more to blame than anyone else...if anything they are better than their adversaries as they are not hell bent on wiping the other out.

And as for Iran using a nuke, yes I firmly believe they will. Whether it be a direct attack from an Iranian missle or a small suitcase bomb given to a Hezbollah suicide bomber as soon as they have it they will use it. Nukes were a tool of defense when the fear of mutually assured destruction was eminent. we had that with the Soviet Union. Ahmedinjad has already said he will wipe Israel out at all costs and Iran has proven over the years they will incur any loss needed to justify their goals.

 

The old super powers are no more and they use every tactic possible to piss us off.......Everyone is waiting for our downfall

 

There is one superpower now and that is the US. Everyone wants the guy at the top.

 

We need another super power to compete with. We are getting lax and becoming way to full of ourselves. THAT will lead to our eventual downfall.

Sooner or later another Super Power will arise. It's just a matter of time when, not if another one will come up.
The United States, if you think about it, wasn't really a Super Power prior to the World Wars now everyone wants to bite our balls for whatever reason h:

True. China can build cheaper things, Japan can build better things, and India is now becoming the center of technology. We are quickly losing every advantage that we have ever had.
