Ahhh comic books.
I have the same ones that Andrew mentioned, but most of mine are older...from the late 70's and 80's.
Batman Hunt the Dark Knight, Death of Robin, Death of Superman, old-school Spiderman & X-men. I have at least three of those comic book storage boxes filled with bagged stuff. Popped them into this acid resistant bag, then inserted them into a regular comic book bag with an acid free backer.
I'm keeping the comics until I die. Lots of good childhood memories associated with those.
Gee, what are the chances that the TF addicts in this thread used to collect comic books also?

oh the drama.
One of the guys who created TMNT lived about 10 minutes away from me in Maine. I had the 4 big graphic novels of TMNT, but I never got into comic books really.

If they weren't $4 something each, I'd probably still be buying comic books.
Every once in a while, I'll buy a graphic novel. DC came out with two that I liked. The "Kingdom Come" series was excellent. It dealt with the super-heroes as they got much older and had to deal with the younger generation of meta-humans.
There was another one called "Red Son" which delved into the "what if Kal-El's life raft crashed in Communist Russia instead of Kansas, USA".

so, after the
comic book phase 89 to 92
video game phase 93 to 00
I was looking to fill a void in my life. I was buying diecast model cars for a bit ... then I saw this at the University's comic book shop.

and it was over.

The crappy part about collecting comics in the late 80's/early 90's is they were pumping out so many that none of them were rare. I just looked it up and a Spawn #1 goes for $10. I heard that nowadays they print a lot less, so the value increases a lot more. I'll never get back into them, but I wouldn't mind being able to read the Spiderman stories I missed.
edit: "Red Son" just reminded me of Marvel "What if" comics. I had a bunch of the Spiderman ones.
Andrew's video-gaming system binge was legendary.
He's got every video game system and almost every good game for any system. Name it, he got it.
My favorite of his collection is the Atarai 2600. He's got all the game cartridges for that system. He even has two unopened, MISB 2600 games in perfect condition. He's even got working vintage paddles. Playing warlords is a bunch of fun.:crazyr:
Intellivision, Coleco, NES, SNES, N64, Atari 5600, Atari Jaguar, Neo-Geo and bunches more. The oddball had to be this 3D nintendo deal...I forget what it was called.
