Default Transformers collectors ... sign in again

Welcome to the Transformers / toy discussion thread. Remember, the On-Topic room isn't here solely for political debates. The room is also for threads that contain much insight and perspective that deserve to stay on-topic. (sports, hobbies, news, etc)

Since we are in a new forum, we'll have to change posting styles. Please read this over and try your best to accommodate for the "On-Topic" room.

1. We mainly discuss Transformers branded toys, but any toy is welcome into the discussion. We're often on many sites that have other items of interest, bring them up as you see fit.

2. Use the "edit" button more frequently. If you're posting eBay auctions the group might like, please do your best to incorporate it into one post. Feel free to use the "size" and "bold" tags to bring attention to something important.

3. When posting a reply, please put thought into what you're saying. I'm not calling anyone out, but posts like "cool..." or smilie only aren't acceptable. Please keep smilies to a minimum too.

If you're new to this thread, there are many toy enthusiasts here. It's not always the same 3 people, we've actually gathered more and more contributing members as time goes by. (We started with 3 or 4, now we're up to 10 or 12) Please chip in if you like.

Just a reminder, I am a moderator in this forum. I do not have to rely on others to apply warning points.

Thanks to all!

Andrew

You're going to get another one through group buy, so you'll have a decent MISB one on the shelf. For all the grief that US Customs caused, you might as well make the best of it and fully trip down memory lane.

While I could have relisted that hammered box dirge and made a couple of dollars (literally), it was more than worth it to me to open it up. Putting on the stickers, making sure everything lined up...it was great :boink:.

Over the weekend I opened up the KO Megatron. Holding Megatron in gun mode was such a trip. Felt like I was 10 again. Robot mode blows chunks, but weapon mode is freaking awesome.

Do we have a 24-page limit now?

I was in the middle of posting this:

Ninja turtles and Yu-Gi-Oh rang the closing bell today. No transformers, but I thought it was semi-related and funny.

I want to keep it to a 1,000 reply sort of thing. I know the server is a bit sensitive to the larger threads. :hs:

Hammy, Monk ... How do you guys want to handle these Megatrons?

1. each individually pay the seller
+ faster delivery
- might be a shade more ($10 or so)

2. have me pay the seller
+ a bit cheaper
- slower delivery (shipped to me, then reshipped out via UPS)

Let me know if you're still interested. The seller says the boxes are in C8.5 to C9 condition.

and add this to the freak pile. The Decepticon Metroplex, Metrotitan.

SW TF's mostly suck in robot mode. I find only Darth Vader to be ok in robot mode. They suck slightly less in vehicle mode...only Vader and Obi Wan are solid in vehicle mode. General Grievous sucks in both modes, and Luke sucks slightly less.

Doesn't matter to me. I'm in no rush as long as I get it. Hell, I just found out my Brave Max and gigastorm are delayed 1-2 wks shipped from Japan.

On another note, my wife just told me my primes are waiting for me at home.
