Well, got to inspect my package, and I have a mixed review. First, the boxes have what would be considered shelf wear, marks and rubs, dinged corners and such. C7-C8 on the boxes.
Also, the black prime has a mark on the trailer sticker. Tape is skinny scotch type, if that matters (it's a KO anyway).

When they're shipped from China, there's almost no padding in the carton ... just toys stacked flap to flap. Get it on eBay directly from China, run the customs risk. Get it from S-O-C, the box gets handled even more. There's no winning.

Ok guys, a couple of things from the KO, since I opened mine. First, I was sent the blue eyes/window version instead of the clear window/hepataitis version. I've worked something out with SOC. Second, Andrew was right about the fit and finish. While it's good, I don't think the quality is the same as the real Takara version: Chrome has smudges and isnt smooth in all places, the gas tanks on the legs are mounted slightly at an angle, the wheels have a bit of play on the mountings, head doesn't stay flipped on the body too well. The plastic has a few stress marks from molding/assembly, but the metal is right on. The paperwork was placed in a sandwich bag (i kid you not), but folded and taped nicely.
Still, nothing beats the G1 feel to this, more so than any of the other versions I have, all 9 of them.
