Those Ricochets are not a bad idea. I wonder if they are still there. Last time I bought two, the dude at the register was like, what is this and he opened the flap. I can't imagine what they would do if I bought 20 at once.

sure it'll be alot of work shipping out 20 units, but think of it like this ...

buy at $3 each x 3% tax = $3.09 per unit.
$3.09 X 20 units = $61.80 invested
1 ebay auction with 20 available for purchase @ $9.99 each, $6 shipping, $3 for every additional.

That's $200 from eBay - 3% (paypal fee) = $194
$194 - $3 (ebay fee) = $191

$191 - $61.80 = $129.20 profit.

you gotta assume that shipping will be close to $6 per unit, it's also good to add a tracking number to protect yourself. If would be best to use Priority mail too ... you get free boxes.

if we all tried hard enough, I bet we could do an extra $50 a week ... that's $2,600 at the end of the year. It's all about staying motivated. We're all pretty much experts in TFs, so there's little or no risk to choosing an item.

Those bastards still ring up at $34.99 at TRU here.

TFC10 Soundwaves with BIN's of $60
TFC09 Starcream with a BIN of $31
TFC12 Minibots with a BIN of $40
Alternator Swerve with a BIN of $20
etc ...

The reason I hold back is because I get attached to the item. I ADD it to my shelf, which is a huge mistake. I need to be able to treat these with no emotional attachments and get them out the door.

Yeah i'm sure. I'm the same way as you, i buy with the intent to sell, but can't get myself to do it. How many times have i claimed to give up and put my collection on ebay, only to buy more. Hell, the korean wooly prime and g2 megatron i got was supposed to be ebayed, but never happened.

They'd thank you for taking a slow-moving item off their hands. How much were they $3.99? Sell them on e-bay with a bin of $13 + $7 S&H.

I have 2 extra Alternator Swerves ... they're sitting on my shelf. I want to sell them, but I got attached to seeing them there. :hs:
You have to remember, you only need to keep one. Keep the one in the best condition, let go of the rest.

Let your TF Plasti-crack addiction start generating some extra income...to spend on TF Plasti-crack you don't have.

Once you sell an item at 2 to 3 times what you paid for it, you'll get over your reservations real quick.

Look at AFA P-king. That tub was an eyesore, but I still made $40 off it. Swerve netted me $70. Once I get TFC Soundwave AFA-ed, that sucker should bring in some good dough.

They were something like $2.94 at the Times Square TRU so tax would be 8.75% or whatever it is here. Getting all that home would be a bitch though.

i know exactly what you mean. not that my collection is anywhere near the size of yours, but even with the doubles, i know i'll be reluctant in letting them go.
