Default Dreaded Stereo Code

My 2001 Honda Odyssey had the power cut from it, so my stereo of course shut down. I have my code for the system, but it will not work for my stereo. Am I stupid? I punch the five numbers in quickly, slowly, standing on my head, but nothing seems to work. I have reset the system several times by disconnecting the battery. Could I possibly have the wrong code? Is there some great mystical secret I need to know to do this successfully? It's slowly but surely driving me crazy. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Radio Codes

I would read the manual and see if you are entering them correctly. One book for my acura says you can only enter codes a few times before it locks up electronically and you have to take it to the dealer. If it didnt lock, then possibly you didnt enter correctly. If not, just go to the dealer and they will hook you up. But if you have your paper work, it should be in there.

I went to the dealer. They opened up the system and found they had given me the wrong card - I guess I'm not a big dummy after all.

Hondatech,
Your mailbox is full. Are you still able to retrieve Radio codes? If so please e-mail me. I am willing to paypal you if you can provide me with a working code for my TL 6 disc HU, I have the serial # from the unit, but since this was from a wrecked TL I do not have the VIN.

If interested my e-mail is jsuppi@yahoo.com.

Thanks
