Default 97 honda accord stereo code thing

i have a 1997 honda accord with a stock hu and my battery died. when i got a new battery the radio asked me for a code, i don't have a code or the manual so i was wondering if someone knew what to do?? thanks sean

Ok i'm not sure if this is for every car, but i've noticed that on 3 Hondas with the security code HU. All 3 cars had a sticker with the code on it located on the bottom of the ashtray. Check....i have no idea? But like what Matt86 said, you can get it from the honda dealerships. I think the fee's like $20-40. I'd just change the HU
