Default Throiwing my first code!

Im throwing my first code since my swap. Nto sure what it is. This what confuses me:

In the past when I have had a code the CEL comes on and stays on. Even if I fixed the problem (knock sensor) the code stayed on til I reset the ecu. Now I am getting this code that comes on while Im driving and goes away once I turn off the car. When I start it up it wont come on again for a while. Tried jumping the ecu and I get nothing.

Ok I disconected my header to fix it up when swapping brakes and suspension. in the process my friend stripped the pins from the O2 sensor harness. THought we put them back in right but now this code. Also removed the map sensor and secondary dashpot for certain reasons.

Can you guys help me:

Sond like the O2 sensor?

If so anyone have a wiring diagram?

Proper ecu jumping procedure just to double check myself?

Tahnks, Robert.

you jump the ecu just by shorting the wires that terminate under your passenger side kick panel into a green socket. pretty easy.

you reset it by disconnecting the negative battery cable and watching an episode of the simpsons, (5 mins will do, but better to go with overkill)

It's a temporary code. Not severe enough to display permanently. It's still stored though. To recover the code, you'll have to go to some shop that has msd diagnostics or something similar. They'll be able to tell you what the code is.

yup! Mine is doing the exact same thing right now. Only comes on every once in a while. My A/F gauge is BARELY lighting up anything, and that's only part of the time. Wait for the CEL to come back on and check it while it's still running. That's what I did, and it showed up fine. It's not a big enough problem for the ecu to go into limp mode, otherwise the light would stay on until it's fixed/reset.
