But hell man, if you have the kind of money you claim you do, you could get a custom watercooling kit for your JRSC. You'd only need it for hardcore autocross days, but, and I mean no insult, but I think you're shooting a bit for "bling" and "excessive power", so that might be for you

Actually, I think they advise not running more than 11 PSI cause of limitations inherent in roots-style blowers.

There are some pretty pricey custom cooling kits out there, but nothing really in production. You could try water injection and run a small shot of the funny juice to cool the intake charge.

OK 4 all u i know that r gunna say turbo, NO!!!!!! i dont like them, there is 2 much of a chance 4 me 2 blow up my engine plus there really hard on the motor wit out the proper tuning
And im only really lookon 4 about 250-265whp

250whp? Refer to my previous post then. Complete setup listed there.
Uh oh, here we go. How is a turbo going to be harder on the engine versus a blower? Ok, let me rephrase. How is a 250whp turbo setup going to be harder on the engine versus a 250whp JRSC setup? Please inform me. Facts only.
Without proper tuning at 250whp, it won't matter if you're running a turbo or a blower. Power is power, and tuning is tuning.

Shingo... I be all confused now...
You have a GS-R right? Or at least your sig sez that...
Anyways, I was planning to pick on you for having a type-R sticker on the back of your car, then I realized that those wheels have a five-bolt pattern.:wtf:
Did you do a suspension swap w/ a type-R, or is that another, different car?

Common misconception. A well built turbo, that's treated and maintained properly, will be as reliable as almost any other mod. And if you have enough money, then proper tuning shouldn't be an issue.
The REAL reason to get a JSRC is to get the low-end torque, and not have to deal with turbo lag. That's really it. A turbo is superior, or at least on par, in everything else EXCEPT when it's below 3.5~4K RPM.
Well, that and the power of a JRSC is more predicatble, but that's a consequence of it's constant boost nature.

i was not talkin about just the turbo. I mean if i get a turbo kit and i get bored wit the power knowen me i will turn up the boost 2 high, blow the head gasket or have some detination or rod sanp on me. Wit the JRSC there is somewhat of a limit u can run on it

The JRSC is a fine piece. But you can't just bolt it on, run an upgraded pulley, crank up the fuel, and expect to have 250whp. Also, think of the differences between the actual operation of a turbo versus a blower. Also take into account the availability of intercoolers. Which will cause more stress on the engine in the long run? (assuming both are running roughly equal boost levels)
