Who's juicin there teg's? NOS good or bad
Damn I go on vacation for a week and look what happens.
A turbo will always be faster than Nitrous?
I dont think so. You find me something that adds more torque per horsepower than nitrous. A 75 shot puts out close to 100 ft/lbs of torque to the flywheel. If you want balls out speed, a big shot of nitrous is for you. A teg with turbo will beat a stock teg with nitrous any day? I don't think so. There are wayyyyyyy too many variables to go around claiming something like that when you have absolutely no firsthand knowledge about the subject.
It has become painfully obvious after reading this entire thread that LudeRage has absolutely no clue about what he is talking about. And to the people who think 100 shot on stock internals is not doable, I have a good friend running 125 shot on his GSR for over 2 years, a bottle or so a week. Still runs strong and blows good compression numbers. As long as the motor is tuned to not detonate and your fuel system can adequately supply fuel to the engine, it will be fine. How can you say you can run more hp from a turbo than you can on nitrous from a stock engine? Explain to me how is it any different? I would really like to hear you try and talk yourself out of that one. Wait a minute, I don't wanna get stupider, so don't waste your time. Run more boost, you force in more air. Run more nitrous, force in more air. It's all relative bud. You keep quoting your one example of the 257 whp turbo teg; do you have any other things running around inside that small brain of yours, or do you have a one track mind that the block guard is the save all of a turbo/fi motor? You have a lot to learn son.

Well dubster..why do you ask me if I have first hand knowledge? You never talk about your OWN car running 125 shots of nitrous. And I find it very hard to believe you can SAFELY run that much nitrous on a gsr. Unless he's made some major changes in fuel management. And you're right..you can't compare a turbo vs. nitrous. But my point was a turbo gives you almost instant power and holds it, yet nitrous gives you a boost than loses it. Which would you rather have? Constant power or a short boost? UNLESS you're dragging at a TRACK, I think nitrous is a huge waste of money. This whole thing was about whether NOS was good or bad...I say BAD. So get off my ass about it, won't you? I would take a turbo over a bottle of nitrous anyday. PERIOD

I'll be the judge of this, Luderage wins. Damn good points AND you are holdin your own against 4 nitrous lovers. All about all motor. And on a different note, a pre-**** you before you even think about talkin ****.
I fail to see how inacurate and incorrect points, could ever be considered "good points". Also using personal opinions as facts can not be considered good points.
I can't say I am too impressed with your judgement :P

Are you saying that constant boost with a turbo and short bursts of power with nitrous is misinformation? That it isn't a fact? And you dubster, you lying sack of ****, what about your "facts"? There is no way you can run a 100 or 125 shot of nitrous on a stock gsr. That is bull****! A guy in Frederick ran a 100 shot on his stock gsr and blew a piston through his hood. But I don't jump on your asses about your opinions and statements you call "facts". And no matter what you try to say, you can't say someone is wrong for prefering a turbo over nitrous. I would spend the extra money for a turbo anyday. Are you gonna ***** and say that I'm wrong about that? You nitrous lovers haven't beaten me at all with facts. You've outnumbered me with opinions.
