Who's juicin there teg's? NOS good or bad
What's up everyone, I got a 97 LS that I am going to start building up. so far I just got suspension and intake. KYB AGX's and nuespeed sports, and my intake ebay special 29.99. it's jus an intake but whatever.
My ques is who here is using NOS?
Have you had any problems?
What system is the best?
Which is better wet or dry?
What kind of shot are you using?
What kind of 1/4 times are you running?
How many miles are on your motor?
Is 80,000 miles to many miles to run a 75 shot?
If anyone knowledable can give there opinion I would appreciate it.

I would do other 'better' beginner mods instead of just stapping down some NOS on an otherwise stock car.
If your looking for some go, then look into headers, cat-back, ignition systems, cams, ect.
NOS is the last thing I would put on my car. Personally cause I dont drag race it, its mainly a street car and possibly will begin seeing some autoxing.

i wanna here some results i plan on doing all that plus cams injectors fuel rail etc. my friends have some serious rides no rice here pal. so please i need some results time slips experiance with nitrous no here say please
Um, I fail to see how nitrious has anything to do with being a ricer.
Ricer is often described as all show and no go, in perticular when a car is ugly, or tries to give it the impression of being fast.
Nitrious adds power, how does that apply? If anything its a great sleeper mod :P

hmmm, how is using nitrous "rice"? nitrious is the best bang of your buck for quick horsepower. May want to email Dubster99 since he has nitrous. Brand wise, its i'd go with either NOS or Zex, some people like my friend would go with the blue bottle (NOS). On a car thats stock or with some bolt on's, then you could prolly use a 50 shot, and then maybe up to a 70 shot but make sure you get colder spark plugs before using. 1/4 depends on the driver and where your at. My friend gets 14's and he has 30k miles on his car. Nitrous is dangerous and hazardous to your car if you abuse it or dunno WTF your doing. In the words of Dubster99 "Nitrous doesn't kill motors...stupid people running nitrous kill motors"

Darkside beaten by have you?

Now let me kick some knowledge for you, Mr. Riceboy SE-R. Maybe you'll take some and spray yourself, and possibly win a few races for a change. Haters need not respond, just because they get owned by the throttle in a bottle, and because they don't know **** about it. Please enlighten me on what YOU know about it....and how it's ricey. :dunno: Now those who actually want to know about nitrous, keep reading.
1. Nitrous is perfectly fine when tuned and used correctly.
2. You can run up to a 75 shot with a COMPLETELY stock car. I'm talking stock fuel system, ignition system, etc. However, be prepared to replace your clutch soon. You will need one or two stage colder spark plugs, and to retard ignition timing according to shot size.
3. The best type of kit to buy is Direct Port, a wet kit in which each intake manifold runner has it's own fogger nozzle mixing fuel and nitrous. This ensures even nitrous/fuel distribution to all cylinders. If you don't go direct port, I would either get a NOS dry kit, or Zex kit. Zex is also dry, and great for the beginner. I personally don't like single fogger wet kits where the nitrous and fuel go through the air intake. It's possible to have a nitrous backfire if that fuel ignites, and I dont like the idea of liquid going through the tb, etc.
4. Mileage isn't a factor in whether or not you should use nitrous, it's the actual running condition of a motor. Do a compression test and make sure the motor is in good working order before you spray.
5. I'm running a 75 shot on my stock teg and have been for over a year, I currently have 61k miles.
If you have more questions, email me or hit me up on aim.

I agree with dubster...people talk so much sh*t about Nitrous , and they dont know anything about it.......I know a mechanic who has installed NOS in hundreds of cars within the past few years, and he never ONCE had a blown engine reported to him.......The key is to make sure that the person installing it knows what he is doing. BY the way, thie mechanic ( he has a 740 hp supra single turbo, by the way , with NOS), told me that the amount of shot you can run depends on how much stock hp your engine comes with... You can run Nitrous shot up to 50 % of your stock hp. For example, if you are running 150 hp at the flywheel stock, you can use up to 75 shot without changing internals. Likewise, a 200 hp stock car can run up to 100 shot on stock internals.
