qtiger is right. after years of spending money on filling up your tank (not to mention the damage most nitrous users put on their engines because they think they can put 100 shots on stock internals) it will cost as much or more than a turbo after you blow up your engine or have to get a new one cuz you ran nitrous every day for a few years. The point is, is that you are only able to safely run about 50 or so shots of nitrous on a stock engine and a turbo can give you more hp than that on a stock engine anyday. You can run 6 psi stock on a teg after getting a better oil pump and 10 psi after getting high performance fuel injectors. (You should block guard too but that cost under 200). Anyways, nitrous is for wannabes. It's really not a mod. It's like if there was a high octane gas you could buy at the gas station that added hp, saying that was a mod. Nitrous really isn't there. Now when you pop the hood..you can see a turbo..and it will always be there..no refills needed. So next time you go to pick up your car's crack prescription from the NOS shop, just remember that your just killing your car...dose after dose. :fawk:

Ohh yeah and pyslas..you are soo dumb. You said that nitrous was way faster than a turbo. Hmm let's see...you can block guard your engine for 175 bucks and get 257 whp with a turbo..or you can run a 150 shot of nitrous, trying to beat that, and blow yourself up so we don't have to listen to your stupid ass comments anymore.

LudeRage - Sounds like you don't understand nitrous

Anyways, nitrous is for wannabes. It's really not a mod. It's like if there was a high octane gas you could buy at the gas station that added hp, saying that was a mod.
Nitrous is not a fuel, nor a fuel additive. If anything its an air additive. It does the same thing a turbo or supercharger does. It forced more air into the combustion chamber. The whole argument makes no sense because you can't get gas that adds HP. Thats like saying "imagine if you could get an airfilter that spins and generates 6psi of boost.. " who cares? You can't, why does a unrealistic example of getting more HP have to do with anything?

Nitrous itself is not a mod, but you do modify your car and engine to use nitrous. by your logic a turbo wouldn't be a mod because your engine always has air, you can get free air at gas stations.

Nitrous really isn't there. Now when you pop the hood..you can see a turbo..and it will always be there..no refills needed.
Funny when people with N2O pop their hood or trunk I see a bottle and N2O hardware :P oh wait, are those invisible?

So next time you go to pick up your car's crack prescription from the NOS shop, just remember that your just killing your car...dose after dose.
You are not killing your car dose by dose if done correctly. It can be safer on your engine than a turbo or supercharger. Why is it that a safe estimate for a stock internal turbo B18 engine, is 50k miles before you have to rebuild?

Each form of forced induction has its advantages and disadvantages. There is a reason to go with any kind. Just because you are in love with turbos doesn't mean there is no reason to use N2O.

My point was that a Teg with a turbo will beat a stock Teg on nitrous ANYDAY. And Style TEG... how is nitrous a mod? By putting better oil, better gas, etc in your car, will actually make it run better therefore probably adding a few hp. I wouldn't call that a mod. Plus, what is your guy's obsession with nitrous? So you see Fast and Furious and think that by putting a cheap bottle in your car will be making you run 9's? Sorry. Maybe it's just me, but I would rather do real stuff to a car than drop a bottle in the trunk. I don't have an obsession with turbos..just disrespect for nitrous.
