The dust shield? No. Do no use the dust shield with coilovers. They will bind.

It will drop immediately. Make sure the e-brake is off to make sure the weight is transferred equally to ensure a proper drop.

If you think the fronts were a pain in the ass, the rears are going to be a nightmare. Good luck.

Default I am done..

Not 100%, But thanks all for the replies and input !

Now, here is what I figured out.

The dust sheild, Problem..

As you can see, I removed it for both front sides and here is the result.

after a drive around the block

Hehehe.. after a littlewhile I will replace the hubcaps, and start on the rears.. Thanks everyone, I will post pics when I am done. Does it look ok?? too low ??..

+ it does no longer have that bounce I spoke of earlier. It rides as good as stock to be honest.

Damn, I didn't even catch that you were still using the stock dust shields. That would definitely prevent the springs from compressing. :chuckles:

The drivers side looks higher than the passenger side. I would get everything installed and then adjust the height all around.

I would get some PB blaster and soak down the hardware on the rear if I were you. Being that you live in TX and the rear has probably never really been worked on since all the mechanics of power are up front, I am willing to bet that the bolts are nice and comfortable where they are and probably don't want to budge due to the elements of living in the South. That and the yr. makes it almost a certainty that it will be a pain in the ass to break free. It could strip or break...

Default Done !!!

OKAY, Finally.. Done, Will have pics up tomorrow.. For the most part, I learned a thing or 2 thru errors that helped me pick up the pace today. IMO, the rears were easier, I only had trouble with the passengerside rear bolts, They were a bit tight, But nothin a good grip and some WD40 couldnt take care of.. Actually.. WD probably didnt do SH*T by the looks of the scrapes on my hands, lol, it was all my strength..

Well, its LOW as crap now, rides the same as it did stock too, no extra bounce or anything. Just gotta watch certain bumps, but thats a big  DUHH.. heh, well thanks all, Ill post pics tomorrow !!

*EDIT*: Now that I think about it, I did run into ONE problem.. On the driver side rear, where you need the allen for the self lockin nut, somehow the allen striped it.. But I managed with another tool, Im not sure the name, but its like a, *-allen.. U know ? Yeah..

Holy negative camber!

I suggest you have it aligned unless you feel like going through tires every 5,000 miles.

If you want to keep it that low you will need a camber kit. IMO it's alittle to low I would bring it up alittle then get an alignment. Or spend some of that money your getting on a camber kit then get it aligned.

Holy negative camber!

haha, that made me laugh.. Yeah, so far it doesnt seem out of alignment, But it has only been like 3 days. I dont plan on keeping it that retarded low, I am going to check up on some rims today, and see what the shop has to offer this time. I think I will go with either 15's or 16's and raise it about an inch. I would really like to find some black LS teg rims, those are hot - But every body and their honda got them, so thats probably not gonna happen

And, I dont think mine cambered THAT bad for such a low drop.. I have seen gus who look like they had broken axles.. Either way, I will probably look into a correction kit in the next week or so, i still have a few things I had wanted 2 buy, such as a valve cover, so.. Whatever i manage to put together, I will mos definatley post pics
