Adjustable Suspension
I have returned after many long days with out a computer, and a very hectic schedule.
My Adjustable Coilover set came in just the other day, and I finally have a day off tomorrow. I plan on taking this project down tomorrow, So wish me luck on a first time lowering job, Only thing I need to rent out is a spring compressor(unless some one explains the fine art of spring removal) and a torque wrench.
Whether I gain success, or failure.. I will be back on here tomorrow with pictures and details.
Btw, this is going on a 92 RS 2 door. - Any tips or advice is very welcome, I have been researching this subject for weeks now.. So please have at it.

I would not advise NOT using a spring compressor unless you want your face cut off. The spring is under a shit load of pressure and comes off with great force. If anything use cargo straps with a ratchet device with a good load capacity, not some rinky dink back pack straps.
are you just putting coilovers on or do you have shocks to go with it? The person that had my car before me had just put some coilovers on the stock shocks and i had to get some aftermarket shocks because one of my stock shocks went out with the car being lower than stock.
Take your time, have lots of time to spare (I suggest a whole day to be safe) This was my first DYI Project and BOY did it SUCK.
Don't take any shortcuts like i did (Cost me +4 hours) and be careful with that stupid spring compressors...
Good luck

Well... they are adjustable Coilovers so you just need to lower them.
The part in the pic is what you spin to adjust how high or low your car sits.

I have adjusted them so the spinning part is all the way down, And it sat high.. Then I adjusted it to about 2 inches up wards, and it still sat the same.. Bounces HORRIBLY too, like a lowrider.. But not low..
I am installing coil overs onto stock shocks, I mean, everything fit fine.. It just looks and feels, and is wrong..
Did I forget to remove something? or uhm.. Maybe I installed wrong.. It drove just fine minus the lifted front end and bounce.. so I dont kno..
