The Type-S is alright. A little chirpy but it sounds very mean at high boost. If I were to do it all over again, I would have spent the extra money for the HKS SSQV. The Greddy and other piston type BOVs leak at idle and the HKS doesn't. It sounds a little less chirpy too but the $230 price tag plus the $40 for the flange was enough for me to spring for the Type-S version for $200 shipped with the flange. I haven't heard anything about the RS, so I really don't know. I wanted to try it but I already have a perfectly functional one, so why would I waste the money?
I have heard great things about the Tial but I couldn't find a proper mounting flange for it anywhere. It was also cheap too, but I decide to go with the Greddy one.
I might as well go with all greddy since i have a greddy catback. Btw shmoo, thanks for convincing me to go turbo. I got my intercooler today from city speed. Damn they are quick. Just waiting for the turbo kit.

If you want to go real sleeper style, you could recirculate the BOV into the intake piping, so it will be silent between shifts and spool the turbo faster after shifts. I rigged up a recirculation fitting and tubing, but I couldn't have a turbo car without the sound.
Yeah, I still have A/C and PS.
As I said before, the compressor side of the turbo on the Greddy kit is facing away from the PS and A/C components, so you can keep it. Some manifold and turbo combinations face the other way and interfere with the PS and A/C, so they must be removed.
If I cared enough, I would remove A/C all together but it isn't worth my time and it kind of helps on those scalding summer days.
