how much do you want to spend?
what are your goals?
with f/i, a lower compression ratio is more desirable. of course, gs-r has a relatively high c/r. you can run low boost (probably 6-8 lbs) with a s/c or a turbo
if you're looking to spend a little less and not trying run 12's you can make a strong and fast n/a car.

Yeah like James said. i would go boost (6-7psi) Trust me you'll love it! I am currently running a t3/t4 setup on bone stock Ls and I will toost most mild built gsr, type r out there. Good luck either way you go you will be good.

well it looks like i would have to spend around 3000 to get a turbo or supercharger i think unless i can find something for cheaper but thats around what i want to spend if i did either of those what would i have to change up on my car to make it handle the boost it has like 107000 on the engine. my goals are i think it would be nice to get into the 12's would i be close with a s/c or turbo¿

With a big enough turbo and a rebuilt engine to handle the boost, you will hit 12s for a lot less work and money than going N/A. I run 8 psi daily and hit high 13's, low 14's and I am still running stock internals with 140k on the odometer.
For boost you need stronger con rods, lower compression pistons, and most importantly, upgraded fueling and fuel management. A standalone ECU is the best option you can go with, so make sure you have enough money left over for the installation and tuning of either a Hondata system or Uberdata if you do it yourself.

Still here... sorta...
I wouldn't run any kind of chip that wasn't specifically made to work with FI if you go that direction. It could lean you out and very much damage the engine. And yes, you will not need to be able to use your intake or headER if you go turbo.

Well with the right tuner you can go upto 8-10 psi and have it hit crazy #'s. Search around and DO NOT jump into either option unless you have searched and really really feel good about what your gonna do. I learn the hard way.
