Maint light pops on every x amount of miles. It can be reset via a little button under the steering wheel. Just hold it in the next time you're about the start car...blah blah. I'm sure it's been covered in here before.

Yea, just hold down the button, it comes onn periodically, can't remember the intervals.

 

what will that do? is my car messed up in any way? if i hold the button under the steering wheel, will the light flash still if there is something wrong? Thanks

 

The maintenaince reminder light is ONLY a reminder based on how many miles since the last time it was reset. If you ignore it & never change your oil, that'll mess up your car.

The check-engine light is the only one that has anything to do with something being messed up.

 

Thank You!!! I just had my oil changed 2 weeks ago so thats chill...but i have and will always take care of my baby! I never knew it was only a reminder!
