so is the general concensus the Cobalt GT Sports and Hawk Hp+'s are good steet pads and have good bite while cold? I'm running a completely stock setup and wana upgrade my pads, ive realized AEM pads are crap so would the Cobalt GT Sports or HP+'s be suitable for every day street driving?

From my experience with the HP+ they do require a little heat in them to get up to full braking capacity but otherwise they're perfectly fine. Can't say anything about the Cobalts though.

If you want something in between the AEM and the HP+, the Hawk HPS isn't a bad choice at all.

Any opinions on Raybestos PG brake pads and rotors? Are they good for street use? Anyone know their price?

HP+ might be a bit much for everyday street driving. They cause more rotor wear and do need some heat to work right. I think Axxis Ultimates might be right up your alley... IMO, they're the best street pad (definitely the best I've ever used). Plenty of stop under any heat conditions (including cold), smooth and quiet.

www.rotora.com sells bigger rotors/calipers for your car.

Try to tone it down a bit.
