HP+ might be a bit much for everyday street driving. They cause more rotor wear and do need some heat to work right. I think Axxis Ultimates might be right up your alley... IMO, they're the best street pad (definitely the best I've ever used). Plenty of stop under any heat conditions (including cold), smooth and quiet.
