I'm having a problem with my wiper blades on a "new to me" 96 GSR...intermittent works exactly like the medium setting. (ie. just slowly back and forth, no pause in-between)

Also, the blades will stop immediately anywhere on the windshield when I turn them off, instead of returning to the bottom. Any ideas on where first to look or stick a multimeter on this one? Thanks,

I know on my 92 RS that the intermediate wipers are controlled by an Integrated Control Unit (ICU) behind the driver's side fuse panel. This ICU also controls other functions such as rear defroster timer, side blinkers, door chimes and a few other things. Good luck and the replacement ICU is expensive from the dealer, but a salvage yard should have them for $5 or so.
