Default Transmission question

I was just wondering if all B-series transmissions are compatible. For example, a B20 longblock with a GSR transmission. Is this possible. What about the manifolds are they all compatible also. Intake and exhaust. Basically are the VTEC engine parts compatible with the non-VTEC parts? Thanks in advance!

the trannies should swap over no problem. intake manifolds: some do and some don't.

gsr head can't take the b16 or type r intake manifold.

but the b16 can take the type r manifold.

gsr head has a different head, and the type r has a b16 head with work done to it.

exhaust manifold i think most of the stuff is interchangable, but i'm not positive.

Exhaust manifolds are are physically compatible, but some may not clear the oil pan on some engines.
