vehicle speed sensor help
Check to make sure you have enough tranny fluid in the car, don't ask me why or how, but mine was doing the same yours was, would work only when it got kinda hot, I drained tranny fluid and readded and it started working like new. Remember when filling tranny on a 5 speed you have to have all 4 wheels off the ground in order to get the righ amt of fluid in there.
i tought about that but when i checked it the car was on flat surface and fluid was coming out. I added 2qt and a half. So , i thought it wasn't it. I will go and buy some fluid and try it over the weekend.
I know this has thread has been idle for a while. Just in case you haven't fixed the problem yet here goes. Your descriptions of testing wires are very vague. Sensor is probably 3 wires. 5 volt sensor feed, Signal wire to ecu, ground. should only have power to one wire and it should be 5 volts. The most common problem after swap is gound. Check them close
