which hondata should i go for? a s200 or s300? or are ther any cheaper ECU's that are ok for me?
B16ahybrid can u post your setup of your b16 turbo please? is your kit custom? and did u do it urself?
ste
Here is what I recomend...
t3t40E garrett turbo (www.cheapturbo.com) I'm running a .57 trim .63 A/R and love it.....starts to spool about 2,000rpm and have full boost by about 4,300rpm (14psi).
custom manifold (i'm using a drag mani).find a used manifold in good condition.
Tial 35/38mm wastegate will work perfect.
medium sized intercooler (http://www.streetimports.com/products.asp?catid=95) any of those would probably work for your goals, I would although recomend a 3" thick core. I'm using the 21x9x3 fmic and it seems to be of good quality and performs quite well, a lot better then my old greddy core.
some dsm 450cc injectors and resistor pack from any vehicle
stock pump will work fine.
hondata s100b will be good, uberdata is cheaper though...I'm running hondata and love it.
Piping, cheap, mandrel bends with some hose clamps...
oil feed and drain lines
blow off valve...any will work...i'm using a megan racing bov and it's works pretty well. It was pretty cheap so I figured that I would try it out...no problems yet...

My set-up:
drag mani
garrett turbo
above intercooler, and bov
hondata
delphi 756cc injectors, holley 255lph fuel pump
msd 6-al, ngk 7 series plugs and stock wires..
@9psi dyno'd at about 250whp.....
Oh and 2.5" exhaust.....

Never heard anything about them...they look ok since they use garrett turbo's. Not sure what kind of wg they use or mani style....Price is decent...

turbocalculator.com is a crook. Look him up on better business bureau and see how many claims there are on him. My friend bought a turbo from them a year ago, which he has yet to recieve.

you have two options for oil feed...

Unscrew the Oil Pressure Sender. Its located on the back of the block to the left of the oil filter. The hole is a 1/8" BPST Threaded fitting. You have two options, you can screw a T fitting into the block and screw on your oil feed and Oil pressure sender, or you can screw in a fitting then run a stainless steel line to a T fitting mounted on your firewall. The best of the two options is the T fitting that you would mount on your firewall simply becase the threaded hole on the block is very weak and is notorious for breaking off.

Option 2:
Get a Greddy or Golden Eagle Oil Sandwich. This is simply something that sits between your oil filter and block and has 2 threaded holes. perfect for a turbo and oil pressure guage.

IM me on AOL for a diagram of the firewall mounted T, my screen name is Jeterkm02

Yeah stock internals. It's not the amount of boost that you run, it's the amount of power your making and the quality of the tuning...I had boost up to 8,200rpm (I set the rev limit there)...If I reved higher it would still hold boost (thats not the issue).....but doing so wouldn't benifit much as power wouldn't climb as much above redline because of the stock cams...I never really took it past about 8,300rpm.
2.25" will work fine, I ran 2.5" and noticed a little gain....
Whats your e-mail I can take pics of my oil feed and send them to you if you like

I'll snap then shortly and send them out. I'm getting ready to drop the motor in today.....so pics will be easy...
Yes hondata s100b.

I don't know the internal working of the filter sandwich so I cantsay for sure if the oil goes into the filter then into the sandwich on it's way back out or through the sandwich then into the filter...
I've never head of anybody having problems with running one. If you were worried I'm sure you could run an inline filter to the turbo. I'll try to look them up and figure that out and let you know.
