Default D16Y7 Tune Up

I have a '97 Civic with a D16 that I autocross. It has 84K miles on it and I'm not sure if it's had any tuneups (I bought it 6 months ago). What, if anything, should I do for a 'tune up'? I've been thinking about flushing all the fluids (radiator, oil, mtf), but do I need to worry about checking the valves, timing, etc? I have all the tools I need to do what I need to, but should I take it to a dealer? Please advise...

Fresh oil, new tranny fluid, new coolant, fresh power steering fluid, new spark plugs and wires, check your base timing, valve adjustment ... I may have missed some things, but those should be your basics. Anyone else feel free to chime in.

Unless you have already changed your timing belt recently, you may be due for a new timing belt although I do not know at what interval Honda recommends to change it at. With changing the timing belt, generally changing the water pump is recommended too. The rule of thumb for timing belts is 60k-70k miles but it really depends on the manufacturer.

Good call. I totally forgot about the timing belt.
