rsx-s bout half a second faster stock to stock against a gsr. bolt ons with a rsx-s and a hondata chip... is just sick... ive never seen a n/a car respond so well to boltons... but gsr's are old school... and in itself makes it a badass ride.

Umm mebbe you don't understand what it means to go from a roll? you are usually in gear holding a steady rpm and both of you floor it so its more of a car's race, not a drivers race due to launching factors.

"launching" from a roll pretty much defeats the whole purpose of going from a roll. mebbe next time you should throw it in to the "R(racing)" gear when you are racing.

not really. going from a slow roll like 20mph is still a drivers race. it's impossible to get traction through first a second gear unless you know what you're doing. the reason my friends and i go from a roll is cause they all got type-r's or 240's with much better traction than my civic.

when you launch the car from a dead stop you can do anything you want to make your car launch better and win (different rpm's, feathering, etc.)...same goes from a roll.

*cough cough* ET streets

all you need is good tires dude. You can easily pull sub 2.0 60 foots peglegging it and you make a crapload more torque than an ITR so you should have the advantage even without a LSD if you get some good rubber.

Guess you've never modified an EFI V8 to see some NA dyno numbers.

My buddy has an RSX-S and his biggest complaint is that the car has no bottom end torque which hurts it. From a stop, the RSX will run into the low end torque issue......but don't forget that an Integra isn't a torque monster down low either. Interesting. Given the combination I would have thought the RSX would have pulled......bad driving or not once it's on the mat and in gear it's up to the car to pull - not the driver.

wtf i hate how v8 lovers always use their excuses of v8's.. no shit you'll gain more... end of that g*y shit.

anyway forgetting about that v8 lover that doesn't know what LSD is... the K20 loves mods. my friend ran his stock RSX-S at 15.3 at the track and i've seen faster stock... he got a CAI and Greddy EVO exhaust.. THATS IT and ran a 14.6 at the track, .7 off for a CAI and exhaust? shit i wish any 4cyl engine could do that

also my other friend has a 01 civic ex with K20A swap in it with everything for N/A pretty much.. we think he's in the 12's with it.. if you Super Street guys have the November 03 issue, his car is in the Hot Import Nights part... last page: white civic, full Xennon body kit, blue seats, CF hood.. they talk about his car in the article also.

Racing from a roll is most definitely not a driver's race. Once the car is moving, all you have to do is not miss a shift.
